I stumbled on a, let's say controversial, yet very smart ad for women underwear...


Liaison Dangereuse brand came up with the ad to target Muslim women... here it is, and my thoughts below...





I really liked the ad's conception.


I can immediately see the critics on the extreme use of the Burqa, but i am sad that the western world has been brainwashed by media to relate the Burqa only with Islam, yet to get to people you need to shock them indeed...


The ad is quite witty, keepin the audience captivated by the nude woman and her curves, and also by focusin on the Muslim theme with the close-ups on the woman's oriental features and make up, as well as most importantly the enchanting oriental music throughout...


I do believe however that the introduction of the Burqa is quite sudden at the end of the ad, time constraints i guess, but they could've worked on a smoother transition to it,, maybe the abaya first or make up tuning by the woman...


all in all, daring and well done!

The brand has been making fruitful appearances across the local jewelry shows, heavy promotion online through Facebook and Twitter, and most importantly, the frenzy goin around the social networks of both Mukhi sisters

Just today, they have released a video promoting their Jewelry !!! i must say, it was shot with plenty of attitude!!!

The gorgeous girls Karine Yassine (Brunette) and Karen Zaatari (Blondie) are perfect in the video, they are so natural throughout the attitudes they show, their fun with one another is so funny and just puts a huge smile on your face.. still with all the sexy stop motion in the video, you tend to keep an eye on the headwear, necklace and head band they are showcasing !!! The music is so funky u keep on tryin to sing it!!!

Bed Head !

Got off to a new start for my mornings to day!


woke up with the oh so dreaded bed hair !!! after spending almost 8 years with short hair, i decided to grow  it, and boy its growing!! 
im so nervous now about goin into that bermuda triangle period where you dont knw wht to do with your hair, however you style it, it still will look like crap! hmmm,, and i should prepare my list of hair wax/gel to keep it in check when needed... 


which reminded me of some funny and smart ads for exactly taming my new hair!!
